Powerpoint presentations on older comps

Powerpoint presentations on older comps
Does anyone know how to display a presentation created in Powerpoint XP on an older computer running say, Windows 98? I have already tried using the viewer but it couldn’t play my animations, and I have alsodownloaded the Microsoft runtime files and played the page as a website but it still wont play correctly! Has microsoft released a new viewer?
