Printing issue

My 82 year old father does things to his PC that since I’m 600 miles away I have trouble diagnosing and resolving. Currently he is having problems printing in Outlook Express, Outlook, and IE. We have tried different printer drivers, a different printer, scandskw, to no avail. It prints ok in Word; however, in Outlook it will print the first email and then after that only prints the header and prints blank pages in IE. My current attempt is sending him IE 5.5 SP2 to install (I think he already has it, but maybe this will help!) but if anyone has any other suggestions before he drives my sister and myself crazy, please let me know!
