Proxy Server 2.0 and RRAS

Have a server that use to have Proxy Server 2.0 installed. RRAS was working and could establish VPN connections. Proxy crashed hard and took a long time to recover. After recovery, RRAS give TCP/IP CP reported error 733: Your computer and the remote computer could not agree on PPP control protocols. Have looked this up in TechNet, done everything it states, still have the same issue. Reinstalled Active Directory completely, same issue. Seems like a registry issue now. Seen this before?
