Querying memo fields in MS Access

Hello,
Pretty simple question: is there any way of running a query on a memo field in Access to search for words in a document beyond the 255 character limit? I have records in a field containing text entries of approx 1/2 to fullside A4 but a query search will only search the first 255 characters. Anything beyond this limit is not picked up. Is there any way round this limit in Access.
