quick books and internet

hey,
my dad has quick books 2k basic and windows xp pro with all the newest patches. he turns on quick books and he gets all these run time errors and i went into the internet options and deactivated display all script errors and inactivated debugg all srcipt errors. i uninstalled and reinstalled quickbooks and internet explorer (i think)
