Quick e-mail

Several months ago I read an article about how to add a “quick e-mail” menu option to my Outlook 2000 button bar. It allowed me to start a new e-mail to someone from my address book, even adding a pre-specified Subject title if I wanted. Somehow the options behind the button have disappeared and I don’t remember how to re-create the steps. Does anyone assist with this question? Thanks.
