Read Ahead Optimization ?

My OS is Win98SE, under the Performance Tab in System Properties, pertaining to File System. What is the best setting for the Slider for the Read Ahead Optimization? I have 64Mb RAM, this setting I believe is ti allocate the amount of RAM my PC uses to open programs and such. Since I don’t have a lot of RAM, what is recommended? No Optimization or one of the other Settings, upt to 64Kb. Am I correct in the assumption that No Optimization will speed up my PC, since it won’t be using Physical RAM to open Apps etc…?
