Read Hotmail inbox

I have 2 accounts at Hotmail. One is Dutch Hotmail and the other is English. For some reason since the last five weeks I can’t open mail in my in-box when I use the English Hotmail account from my Windows XP PC. The Dutch Hotmail gives no problem.
To my surprise I can access the English Hotmail account using my old Windows 98 PC. Trying to get Hotmail help is of no use.
