Reappearing meeting after deleted

Hi,

I have a user that has a meeting that keeps showing up in his deleted items. It is not consistent, sometime he would get it 5 or more every minute and other times 1 every 2-5 minutes. He ends up with hundreds a day in the deleted items box. This is really annoying, can anybody help? He is using Outlook 2000 in an Exchange 2000 environment. And when you open up the meeting it says, “No response have been received for this meeting. This appointment occurs in the past.” Please help!
