Recommendations for a “Corporate” IMTool

Here at my company, we want to implement a Company wide Instant Messaging tool to communicate between our different departments and our remote branches. We were using AIM, but due to the lack of security, the increase in IM born viruses and non company related use, we need to find a more “corporate” solution. Please make a recommendation for other software to use for company instang messaging. Thanks.
