Refreshing database from AS 400

Hay everyone!

I will in few words describe what problem I have.
I made a database that is connected with AS 400 system where is our major data. But, everytime I access this databese is needed to manualy refresh data from AS400 and cause sign-on to AS400.
In future, with this database will work a person who don’t need to see what is going on in background. Thatfore, I want to make a button on my form that will run this refreshing from AS400 and show th eperson if there is some record that is new(not in ACCess).I had made a user for thhis person , exactly for ODBC , that password is saved and never prompted again but I don’t know hoe to make this automatic refreshing.

I will appreciate if anyone know or have a suggestion about that.
