registry cleaner

I am not sure where i neded to post this question, concidering its for windows XP HOME,
for regedit, but regedit would be considered a software of some sort. Anyways i was wondering where “if possible” i can find a good free registry cleaner, that dont have a “time bomb” counter for “free trial” but a free shareware perhaps, i desperately need one, thank you.
