remove “exchange” from email address

I have a client using exchange server for their email and would like to remove the “exchange” from the messages. For example instead of a receiptient getting a message from “user@exchange.mycompany.com” they want it to be from just “user@mycompany.com”. Is there a way to do this. Thanks
