Remove failed XP install from WinME box

I am working on a WinME box that has a failed install of WinXP on it. It boots to the OS choices prompt and defaults to WinXP setup with a short countdown. If left to boot into XP setup, it just goes to a BSOD. if WinME is selected it boots & functions normaly. How can I remove the OS choices prompt and XP setup?
