Replacing Wildcards in MS Excel

by rayasta . Updated 19 years, 7 months ago

Hi all!

I was trying to replace the character “*” in MS Excel. The “traditional” way does not work (write * in the Replace box).

Does anybody know how to replace a wildcard in Excel?

I found a way (change the file to .txt, make a find and replace and then go back to Excel), but I believe there should be a way to do it in Excel itself.

Any advice is welcome.

Thanx!
