Restore deleted outlook user profile

I accidentally deleted an Outlook (2002) user profile and with it went all my recent e-mails, addresses, preferences etc. I am surprised that given the gravity of what I did that there was no warning of what would happen (ie YOU WILL LOSE ALL OF YOUR DATA FOOL!!!) Is there any way you know of to restore it…??? I am running Windows XP Home. Thanks
