Robotics and Oracle 10g

Can anyone confirm if it is true that you would not be able to use Robotics or screen scraping technology with Oracle 10g?

We are evaluating a product which uses Robotics as a front end to an existing Oracle legacy system. The Legacy system is currently on Oracle 9i but within the next 12 months they need customers to migrate to Oracle 10g. The supplier of the legacy system has indicated that Robotics technology will not work with Oracle 10g.

Any useful factual information would be appreciated.
