I have Windows XP-home. A few weeks ago I had trouble with my computer and had to uninstall Roxio easy CD creator Ver. 5, Platinum. you need an X P patch for this program which I tried to download from their site. This became a nightmare. First there download page did not work then finally I found a place to get the necessary download. I’m not sure what happened but I ended up with a foreign language after everything was installed. I know for a fact that I selected English during the installation. I uninstalled the program, went back and tried to get the necessary patch. Again their page was down. I could not find a place to contact the Web master. Nor could I find a real place to get help meaning there was no place that I could find to send an e-mail message for help.
No matter what I try to do now somehow that foreign language is stuck in my system when I try to install the program again. Does anyone have any idea where I could find this file and delete it. It does notgo away when I install the program. Or does anyone have any ideas on another program that does approximately the same thing that doesn’t cost very much money. Actually I have had trouble on and off with this program ever since I’ve had it. In a way it’s too bad because it wasn’t terribly expensive, theoretically it does a lot when it wants to, and just as important I just bought it not to long ago. Thank you for any help
