rule is not working in outlook2000

hi,
i have configured a rule in outlook using the rules wizard .
The rule is like this ,if i get a mail with a word like a TECH in the subject or body i need to move that mail to a folder named as TECH and also send a auto reply to the mail address which i have received .
This works fine and i’m able to do the same task with the rule .
The problem is that the rule is not working after time,i’m able to test this with some test mails and everything works fine and when i close that and after that even i reapply the rules ,it is not working ..
what is the problem and how to fix it .I need this urgently since we will be getting lots of mails and we need to reply to them with auto reply ..
Plz help ..
