Saving then clearing an Access form

by p_cheatum . Updated 24 years, 2 months ago

I am a new user to Access. I have created a table to store inventory data that will be input from a form that I have also created. I would like to be able to have the users input the data into the form, save it to the table then clear the form to input the same data for another department. Then save this to the table. All data can be stored together in this same table so that is not a concern. The form works fine except for clearing the data. It creates a new record every time I go in but from the previous data entry point. This form will be used at least twice a month and it seems unnecessary to begin at the end of the records every time. Not to mention the number of records it will accumlate. Can I save the data and clear the form for new data entry and if so how? Thank you.
