schedule + email importing into outlook

I have a problem whereby uses who have used schedule + for contact information have used various different fields to add e-mail addresses such as for example the pager field. End-users have also many times prefixed the e-mail address with words indicating the field e.g email:, e-mail; e-mail address
We are going through a migration to outlook 2000 and importing schedule + into outlook, and the issue of e-mail fields are causing an enormous amount of frustration and can be time consuming to add these fields manually.

Is there any solution?
