Screen Changes in Outlook 2002

After installing Palm OS hotsynch, the screens in Outlook 2002 change every few seconds in an apparantly random order. It flickers from Outlook Today to maybe Contacts or Calander and back to something else such as Task. Hotsynch appears to be functioning but the screen changes make it impossible to use Outlook.
