Hello,
I’d like to find a simple method to protect my Access 2000
tables and queries from being imported into another Access
database. I’ve got my Database Window locked down tight,
all my Startup options set the way I want but I still
can’t prevent someone from opening a new database, going
to the File menu and importing all the tables and queries
from my database. If there were a way to gray out the
tables and queries from the import dialog, just like the
forms and modules are when you compile a database, that
would be ideal. I’ve looked at user level security and I’m
afraid that it would over complicate my distribution
method and may even interfere with existing workgroups.
I’ve also tried to set the Hidden property on tables but
that is too easy to defeat.
Thanks,
Chris
