Selecting an Email Message Crash Outlook

I am using Win98 Outlook Express 5.0. When I select a certain email to read I crash. Message is MSIMN. Program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module MSOERT2.DLL at 017f etcetera.

Can I delete the email outside of Outlook to keep this from happening? When I click or arrow to it, Express dies.
