Sending Email Problem in Office 2000

For some reason the “mail recipient as attachment” option has dissapeared from the “send to” sub menu, when trying to send a excel 2000 worksheet through outlook 2000, this only appears to be a problem with excel. I can find no reference to this problem on technet or in the KB. Any help greatly appreciated
