Setting Default Font in Outlook 2003

I am trying to set my default font for a new email in Outlook 2003. I have tryed the steps in the help but When it tells me to go to Format — Font and set the font size then to click on Default in the bottom left….its not there. I tried this in Word 2003 and the Font setup screen looks the same BUT the Default button is there and I am able to set the default font…but it doesnt change it for Outlook 2003 too.

Help! How can I get me default font size in Outlook setup! Right now its set to size 9 and is super small!
