I am looking for a solution that I have not considered yet. We have two Exchange organizations that we must share GAL. We have ruled out the interorg synch tool in the resource kit as they are connected via the WAN and the internet mail connector isnot an option for message delivery.
This will be a solution will not be long term so we do not want to invest in an expensive or complex software solution such as linkage. I am not familiar enough with LDAP to create a custom process.
What we have come up with in a test environment is to manually create a site connector with the proper x.400 addressing in both orgs. Then to export the GAL and create custom recipients based on the x.400 address. This works well in our test environment but changes will not be automatically updated.
Looking for a solution I have not thought of or a way to automate the process of updates.
