Shortcuts in Outlook

After migrating to MS Office 2K we experience a problem with opening attached shortcuts in e-mail messages in MS Outlook. The error message explains that the folder the shortcut refferes to is inaccessible. At the same time if user browses to the file using explorer – no problem. What could it be?
