Small Business Server

I am the tech coordinator at a small school district that uses cablevision for internet access. I have one public IP per school and about 45 teachers in each building. I am thinking of purchasing Microsoft Small Business server and creating 50 e-mails for each building. Will small business server give me rights to do that? Has anyone else used it for that method and liked/disliked it? What are some of the alternatives for 200 e-mail addresses I should be looking into?
