Spreadsheet component could not load the XML data

Hi,
I hope someone can help me. I’m trying to save an Excel spreadsheet as a web page so that it can be used by various people online – adding, deleting and amending information.
I am using the “Save as webpage” option but doing this I can either upload the spreadsheet so that it is not editable OR a blank database appears with the message above followed by:
“A tag is not allowed inside a element”.
Does anybody have any suggestions so to what I can do please?
