Stop with removal of USB jumpdrive

I have much the same problem as kazzbar. Recently re-formatted hard drive and re-installed XP pro with 2 partitions. With proper shutdown (I can simply remove the same from my laptop) of usb on desktop, I recieve the blue screen with ***stop: 0X00000A (etc.) and have to reboot. It also gives the IRQL_Not_less_or_Equal message. All other USB devises can be removed with no problem. I do notice that the drive is added BEFORE the hard drive in devmanager as with my laptop it is after. All drivers are the same edition as laptop. If I uninstall root hub or controller that jumpdrive is in then it shutsdown but simply stops other devices from working if I shut those down. My usb in the BIOS is disabled. Problem?
