Tech republic

When i ask a question using the tech republic. I get the answers but i am unable to accept the answersI it does not give me the option) and award the points. I feel as though this must give the sign to the people who answer the question that i do not respond or award the points for the questions.

Can anyone tell me how i can remedy this
