Text hidden in Word 2000

I created a document using Word 97 and I had a text box with a table of information. Now when I view this document in Word 2000, only one line of text will appear in the table and the rest of the information has dissapeared. When you view it in Web format all the information is there?When I copy and paste the text box into a new document I can see all the information, So what is going on?
How can I repair this? Thanks
