Well the happy IBM tech came by today and installed new speakers in my notebook.
In order to do so, he needed to disconnect the CMOS battery, though. THis is usually not an issue, it doesn’ twipe out the BIO or anything but sets up somelittle defaults you have to retweak.
When I opened THunderbird though, NO INBOX MAIL!!
I can see other folders no problem.
I have already deleted all the .msf files and the other folders no longer take 2 minutes to find and populate mail, but the inbox is just blank. New mail shows up NO problem, as soon as it is closed and reopened though, the inbox mail is gone again.
It shows Unread 0 and New 0.
The MSF deletd worked really well for speeding up the other folders and displaying mail instantly, but the inbox is a mustey.
I have seacrhed and deleted ALL msf files for the inbox and they recreate without issues on restart,but NO mail is stored that WAS there before.
ANY ideas??
