Transforming images in Adobe Photoshop?

I was building a large collage in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and had all kinds of difficulties in trying to transform the smaller images that comprise the larger picture. I needed to “wrap” the images, i.e. bend like a rainbow, create a circular path with the image, etc. I see tutorials on how to do this with text, but I am using an image. Any ideas?
