Troubleshoot disappered

Went into Win98 Help-Troubleshoot, selected a subject, eg memory, ticked an option then next, then blank – nothing. White screen no other options appeared. Tried other troubleshooting subjects, same thing – where has more help gone?
Can’t work it out, should I re-install?
