Unable to load a TechRepublic CD I bought…

I bought a CD from TechRepublic, as they were closing their store. It is a tutorial entitled “Microsoft Excel 2003”. I am running XP Home edition, with IE 7. I am fully updated, including my flash player. Windows will not allow me to run the active content from the CD. Is there someplace I can go and check a box to allow me to run this content? I’ve tried emailing TechRepublic, but I never received an answer. I really am interested in learning more on Excel and want to run this CD. Any help someone can give me is greatly appreciated.
