UNTITLED.DAT

by klh456 . Updated 23 years, 9 months ago

OK, I’m ready to try anything at this point. In Outlook 2000, Corporate Workgroup configuration, when I receive mail to my “work” account, (MAPI, X.400)I receive this message. “Could not open one or more attachments. Can’t create file UNTITLED.DAT. Right-click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder.” I am running Windows XP as the operating system. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2000 completely. SP2 and all security patches have been installed. Interestingly, this error does not occur when I am connected remotely at home. I cannot open the UNTITLED.DAT files, but I do not receive the error message as soon as I click on the message. Anyoneever see this error or have any clue how to solve it?

Thanks for any help that can be offered.
