User name missing from Outlook2K Message

All the documentation says you cannot stop the user name from printing on an Outlook message, but on my pc they have stopped and I want them back. Using NT Sp6 on a network with MS Office 2000 Professional. Resetting the MEMO style did not help, modifying the style does not help, creating a new one does not help. Message footers also will not print (or display in print preview).
