Using Borland’s JDBC conn to MS SQL Srvr

Does the Microsoft SQL Server need something special in the way of setup or access to allow an application to access data through JDBC from Borland’ JBuilder? Normally, NT authentication is used for all users accessing data in the database, but the Borland application asks for a login name and password.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
