Video Adapter Driver Problem

Hi, recently I tried to upgrade my PC to Windows XP Pro from Home edition but it would not install properly. It got to 58% completed and then said it couldn’t install a particular file so I aborted the installation. The problem now is that every time I start up my PC I have to uninstall and then reinstall my 2 display/video adapters drivers. Its like they just don’t start up with the rest of the PC. The 2 adapters are Radeon X600 256MB. I would appreciate if anyone could diagnose my problem. Thanks.
