Video Cutting

I have recorded a wedding using a camcorder. I have noticed when watching it back that on some places.

Instead of pausing the camcorder I have left it running, hence I have videoing things that I have should not have videoed.

What software is best to cut these scenes out and make a DVD with all the errors deleted?
