A program called vmimb.exe is hogging all our CPU useage for days at a time.
We are running Small Business Server 4.5 and Exchange Server 5.5. I have traced the program to the POP3 Connector, so I went in to Control Panel Services and set the POP3 Connector service to start manually. It provides relief but not a solution.
TechNet suggests the problem may revolve around long FQDN’s. I have applied their suggestion (modifying the HOST file etc) but it does not seem to work in my circumstance.
Any advice or comments would be much appreciated.
