What about Twitter, what do they want or need.

I am seeing a lot about Verizon, Google and Facebook, but I see no mention of Twitter in these articles, what do they want or need, can someone tell me that. Maybe they don’t want or need anything. Is this a better service than Facebook, probably must be!
