What are these startup files? Bad?

Spyware is my nightmare. Trying to clean the last remaining bit off my computer, and there are 4 items in my startup files I am not able to identify. I have Windows XP Home. When I click Start, Run and type msconfig and go to the startup tab, there are many items, of course, but what are these?
tfttil.exe (…\system32)
cmpc16gt.exe (…\system32)
meruoq.exe (c:\winnt)
syugm.exe (c:\winnt)

The first 2 don’t give information in the properties. The last 2 don’t even show up in windows explorer even with hidden files turned on. I can’t find information about any of these anywhere on the internet. Can I disable these? Should I leave them alone? Not sure what to do and if they are any menace to me. Thanks for any help.
