WIN XP W/DOT MATRIX PROBLEM

I am trying to print labels on an Okidata ML 380 & ML 320. I can get a test page on the printers, but I get a page eject after each label. Iloaded in an older version of Office 97, but it has the same problem.
I checked with Okidata and they gave me suggestions for different drivers. No luck so far. Any suggestions?
