Windows 98 Setup Freezes

I’m trying to intall windows98 on an older computer. P90 64MB of ram AT board. Everything goes fine until it starts to gather info about the computer. Once its a 100% complete it either freezes on that screen or the computer restarts. Does anyone have any idea what counld be causing this?
