Windows Page Fault

After I installed MS money 2002 I got this error when i open windows media

WMPLAYER caused an invalid page fault in
module WS2_32.DLL at 015f:78863043.
Registers
player 7.1 I have plenty of memory and harddrive space I also get almost the
same error when tring to open MS Solatire SOL caused a general protection
fault
in module USER.EXE at 0012:00000455.

This is the error message i get when i open Windows Media Player or Windows Solatare this program has preformed an illegal
operation and will be shut down

any ideas????
