I inadvertently deleted a user’s local profile on a client W2K machine. In so doing, I lost their Outlook account as well. Using a hard drive recovery program, I was able to recover to a different harddrive all the deleted files on the client machine. After looking at all the recovered files, I have been unable to locate a .pst file or anything that looks like it might be E-mails and/or Contacts, etc. The client machine unfortunately does not have a curremnt .pst file either. I have spent several hours searching the net for a solution but all my efforts have revealed nothing (other than “. . . everything is lost, there is no way to recover a user’s deleted profile . . .” I’m not interested in recovering the profile per say, but would like to recover all the Eimails and other info normally stored in Outlook.
Anybody have any input on this one? Thanks.
