Windows XP – Add/Remove Programs

I have recently installed a newer version of AVG and Microsoft office 2007. I am trying to remove both of them from my computer completely. When I click the button to remove. I get these messages:

AVG> Installer initialization failed due to following error:
Error: Initialization of the language file “C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG7\setup.lns” failed.
General failure.

Office> Setup error: The language of this installation package is not supported by your system.

I have tried to reinstall both of them and they will not allow me to complete the process. They still won’t delete. Any Help on getting this clear so that I can free up that space?
